Hope for the Future (Ngathrial)
Teams of 25 women leaders have been established and trained in the Olua and Mungula Settlements. They meet on a regular basis for mutual support and to develop communal solutions to problems they face.
Emergency Birth Preparedness
Through a partnership with volunteer midwives and midwifery students, over one hundred refugee women have been trained in problem identification and prevention during child birth. Nearly a thousand birth kits, containing basic supplies for giving birth have been assembled and delivered to the women.
